About Parker Gunsmithing

About Our Shop

We do not operate a gun store for the retail sale of new firearms or ammunition. We carry an inventory of:

  • Sight Bases
  • Rings
  • Scopes
  • And Other Accessories

We appraise firearms for insurance and resale purposes, including inspection of bore condition with a gunsmith borescope. We do purchase individual firearms, collections, and estates with an eye toward classic firearms that are candidates for restoration.

My name is Sean Eldridge and I am the owner and head gunsmith at Parker Gunsmithing. We are a full service gunsmith shop that specializes in the repair and restoration of both modern and antique rifles, pistols, and shotguns. We do not operate a gun store for the retail sale of new firearms or ammunition. However, we do maintain an inventory of sights, bases, rings, scopes, and other accessories for customers who wish to enhance the performance of their firearms. If we do not have the accessory you need in stock, we will obtain it quickly and at the best possible price. In addition, we are licensed by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) to manufacture firearms. Our metal finishing services include various levels of polish, bead blasted matte textures, hot rust bluing, Belgian bluing, and niter bluing.

Parker Gunsmithing is dedicated to providing prompt and reasonably priced service of the highest quality, because repeat customers are the foundation of our business.

Our business hours are 1:00PM to 8:00PM Tuesday through Saturday. Saturdays are devoted to walk-in customers who wish to visit our shop, review examples of our work, and discuss their specific project. We will make every effort to accommodate walk-in customers on week days. However, certain machining and metal finishing processes cannot be interrupted once they are initiated and we may not be available for an hour or more. Therefore, it is highly recommended that you call in advance (203 826-7865) if you wish to meet face-to-face Tuesday through Friday.
